Standards Australia must draft contracts that are clear, simple and fair.
It is critical that the modernised 2024 version of AS4000 gives business flexibility to select litigation, if it would be preferred over arbitration. The current draft version mandates that all alternative dispute resolution processes lead to arbitration.
Good intentions can pave the path to expensive legal bills. No one wants litigation but Arbitration can cost more and substantially impact profit. Your support is needed.
